Abstract
Intervju je sastavni dio selekcijskog postupka, a nerijetko i jedina metoda odabira budućih zaposlenika. Njegova učinkovitost ovisi ne samo o procjenjivačkim kompetencijama intervjuera i samoprezentacijskim vještinama kandidata, već i o brojnim situacijskim faktorima. U ovom diplomskom radu taj se proces analizira iz dvije perspektive – intervjuera i kandidata. U tu svrhu intervjuirano je petero voditelja ljudskih potencijala te anketirano 100 ispitanika koji su sudjelovali u intervjuu za posao. Anketa ispituje s kakvim vrstama intervjua se kandidati najčešće susreću, kako se za njega pripremaju, koliko proces intervjuiranja nalaze stresnim, s kojim se tipičnim pogreškama u procjenjivanju ljudi susreću te koliko se smatraju kompetentnima u tom procesu. Rezultati pokazuju da se većina kandidata priprema za poslovni intervju. Ispitanici smatraju da je njihovo dosadašnje znanje i iskustvo dovoljno za kvalitetno sudjelovanje u intervjuu za posao. Rezultati intervjua s menadžerima za ljudske potencijale djelomično potvrđuju pretpostavku da oni rade određene greške za vrijeme intervjua, no nevoljko to priznaju.
Abstract (english)
Job interview is the basic part of the job selection process and, in some cases, the only method of choosing new employees. Interview efficiency depends on interviewer's knowledge and skills, candidate's presentation skills and other factors. In this diploma thesis the job interview process is analyzed from two different perspectives - interviewer's and candidate's. For research purposes Resource Managers were interviewed, and 100 participants who previously went through job interviews were given an online survey to fill out. The survey includes questions such asing: what kind of interviews the candidates usually come accross, how they prepare for the job interview, how stressful the whole process is for them, what are the typicall mistakes in character judgmenet they most often come accross and what types of mistakes they have encountered. The second segments reveals that HR Managers do indeed tend to make mistakes during the job interview process, but they rarely admit that.
