sport i njegov sadržaj prenosi putem medija, stoga su često u središtu pozornosti veliki sportski
događaji poput svjetskog prvenstva u nogometu, olimpijskih igara, velikih natjecanja u tenisu,
formuli 1, košarci, rukometu i ostalim popularnim sportovima. Međusobni utjecaj medija i
još veću popularnost i aktualnost.
Abstract (english) | Sport has always been an important factor in human life, especially because of its health, social
and psychological benefits. These are just some of the reasons why the media showed interest
in it and why they became beneficially connected. It is well known that the mass media make
their profit through sports, while sports and sports content are transmitted through the media,
so on many occasions the focus of attention is on major popular sporting events such as the
FIFA World Cup, the Olympics, Grand Slam competitions, Formula 1, basketball, handball
and other popular sports. The mutual influence of the media and sports goes far into the past,
so firstly, sports became a topic in newspapers and later in magazines. Sports journalism is a
form of journalism and does not differ much in theory from any other type of journalism, and
sports journalists specifically report on sports topics, competitions and people related to sports.
The twentieth century brought new media, and that was radio and television, which proved to
be excellent in presenting sporting events and content. Progress in communication has been
marked by the emergence of online media, and sports have become even more popular and
current. The audience got a new way of communicating through websites, sports sections and
social media, which showed to be perfect platforms for interaction, commenting, insight into
present news and the growing involvement of sports journalists. |
