The concept of rebranding is a more common practice in firms that opt for changes related to the offer of supplies/products or related to them alone. The Hippodrome of Zagreb as a brand has gone old. The interest of the public is getting poorer because of the ignorance for the events that are also fewer and fewer. Most of the objects that are on the location are made of outdated construction and present poor conditions, not only for the horses but also for people who are spending their free time there. In this graduate thesis, the theme of brand and rebranding has been theoretically explained and has been practically applied to Zagreb Hippodrome that has been located in the Zagreb neighborhood of Kajzerica for years now and which, in the past, has been a part of the periphery of the city. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the definition of hippodromes in Europe (Czech Republic, Hungary and Serbia ) and to compare them to the Hippodrome of Zagreb in terms of quality and offer. After the analysis, the propositions of financing have been explained and the examples of the changes in regards to a rebranding of the Hippodrome have been listed.
