The subject of this paper is to raise awareness of a new way of life through a special form of tourism; transtourism or transformational tourism. Transtourism combines different forms of tourism which focus on both personal development as well as achieaving life balance within nature. Throughout this paper, the concept of transturism is elaborated and observed on different examples across America, Europe and Asia. "Cultural Creatives" is a term used for a tourist niche of transformational tourism where the turists’ values and lifestyles are examined in further detail. Cultural creators have a very well developed empathy, and because of their awareness, the demand for an economic experience is being developed and perceived as a potential tourism product in the mountain of Medvednica in Zagreb. Research shows that a growing number of cultural creators are looking for peace in a lively lifestyle. The paper is written and presented as “Storytelling” method used by the author, which can be observed in the marketing development part of a potential tourist product. This potential tourism product, not only wants to offer a new form of tourism in the city if Zagreb, but also it is considering how to extend the seasonality and how to involve more local stakeholders. The main objective of this study is to point out the benefits of developing this form of tourism, as well as development of economic tourist offer in presented areas. All the researches applied on this paper have been taken from the Zagreb Tourism Institute and UNWTO2.
