Abstract
Pustolovni turizam apelira na istraživačku potrebu individue i želju za iskušenjem nečeg jedinstvenog, kao što je avantura/pustolovina. Jedan je od važnih sastavnica turizma posebnog interesa, primarno zbog njegove popularnosti u zadnjih 20 godina. Iako je Hrvatska bogata resursima na kojima se može razvijati pustolovni turizam, postoji niz loših primjera pustolovnog turizma koji se iznose u ovom radu. Autor istodobno analizira mogućnosti koje ima agencija u izradi programa koji se temelje na pustolovnom turizmu te kakav utjecaj na njihov rad ima zakonodavstvo. Kroz analizu primjera iz prakse, a na temelju vlastitog iskustva kroz stručnu praksu u turističkoj agenciji, autor ukazuje na moguća rješenja u razvijanju pustolovnog turizma u Hrvatskoj. Pri tome naglašava koji bi sadržaji trebali biti perspektivni poštujući pri tom ekološku i gospodarsku komponentu turističkog razvoja.
Abstract (english)
Adventure tourism appeals on the exploratory side of the individual and the wish of experiencing something unique. It is one of the important components of specific types of tourism, primarily because of its popularity in the last 20 years. Although Croatia is rich in resources from which it can develop adventure tourism, there are a number of bad examples of adventure tourism that are presented in this paper. At the same time, the author analyzes the possibilities that the agency has in developing a program based on adventure tourism and the impact of legislation on the work of the agency. Through the analysis of examples in the research and based on his own experience through professional work in the travel agency, the author points to possible solutions in the development of adventure tourism in Croatia. In doing so, he emphasizes which contents should be promising respecting the ecological and economic component of tourism development.
