Every living being in his lifetime from birth to death goes through various phases. Similarly, companies with their employees are not static and go through different phases. The difference is that an enterprise, if it is smart, does not have to die. lt does not even have to start to grow old. Growth and development processes are constantly underway, and companies go from one phase to the next. During the growth and development, the relationship of management towards individual functions in the company changes, from planning to finance to certain tasks that it must perform. At each stage, different management methods and skills, different mode of work and a different organizational structure are needed. lf the management can foresee, monitor changes, adapt to them, and according to change in its surroundings implement a change in the company, the company will not go through the aging phase. ln conditions of rapid changes in market trends, technology advancement, and market liberalization, it is necessary to continuously perform the organization integration in order to make the change painless and remain in the Top stage. This paper analyses the association of the organization's life cycle with work performance on the example of Salveo d.o.o. Detailed life-cycle phases according to lchak Adizes and performance indicators in individual phases of life cycle were determined and comparisons made with stages in the observed company. Methods of analysis, descriptions and compilations were used to provide recommendations and solutions for successful entry and stay in the Top form stage.
