U radu se obrađuje tema agregatne potražnje i njezine elastičnosti, kao i njezinog utjecaja na recesiju, krizu koja je utjecala na cijeli svijet, pa tako i na Hrvatsku. Naglasak je stavljen na raspoloživi dohodak kućanstava od 2005. godine, koji će pokazati kako se situacija mijenjala, odnosno kako je gospodarstvo izgledalo u razdoblju prije krize, za vrijeme same krize, te nakon krize (u ovome slučaju, u kontinuiranoj borbi za opstanak). Kriza je na vidjelo iznijela loše odluke koje su dovele do kaosa i loše organizacije, zapravo, nespremnost gospodarstva da se nosi s većim oscilacijama u kontekstu ekonomije. Odrednice agregatne potražnje pokazuju što najviše utječe na ravnotežu tržišta te kako elastičnost potražnje dovodi do promjena u gospodarstvu. Analizom međusobnog utjecaja raspoloživog dohotka i potražnje kućanstva pokazano je kako krajnji potrošači djeluju u određenim mogućnostima, gdje se ograničenim dohotkom nastoje optimalno zadovoljiti sve potrebe. Predviđanja nisu najbolja, no pravilnim odlukama Vlade, uz maksimalan napor kako njih, tako i svih pojedinaca, te njihovim međusobnim povjerenjem, napredak je moguć. Spor, ali moguć.

This graduate thesis deals with the topic of aggregate demand and elastic demand, as well as the impact of the demand on recession, the crisis affecting the whole world, as well as Croatia. Emphasis has been put on household disposable income since 2005., which will show how the situation changed, in fact, as the economy appeared in the pre-crisis period, during the crisis, and after the crisis (in this case, continuous struggle for survival). The crisis has shown bad decisions that have led to chaos and bad organization, in fact, the unpreparedness of the economy to cope with greater oscillations in the context of the economy. Aggregate demand parameters show the greatest impact on the equilibrium of the market and how elasticity of demand leads to changes in the economy. Analyzing the interplay of disposable income and household demand has shown that end-users are acting in certain ways with the limited income trying to optimally meet all needs. Forecasts are not the best but correct Government decisions, with the maximum efforts of all market participants, and their mutual trust, progress is possible. Slow but possible.
