This thesis paper is concerned with estimating the financial benefits of investing in constructing a hotel in Betina on the island of Murter. The data used in this paper has been collected from a variety of sources, such as the internet, books, study notes, financial reports from companies from the same or similar economic branches and so on. Financial reports and analyses for a period of five years were made using the collected data. The results are objective as the reports were made using the current market situation. The paper proves the financial benefits and the longevity of investing in this hotel construction project, the return on investment being estimated to occur after three years. Furthermore, the collected data leads to the conclusion that there is an increase in the number of bookings, which also leads to an increase in obtaining lodgings within the hotel. Tourism in the town of Betina has been the primary economy driver although there are no hotels. Guided by this fact, the project initiator considers that building a hotel there would widen tourism possibilities, which is also important for the welfare of the entire community.When taking into account the results, it is recommended that this project get off the ground.
