The topic of this thesis is leadership in theory and practice, as demonstrated by the organization Rimac Technology d.o.o. . Rimac Technology d. o. o., a young organisation that is still rapidly expanding, has grown from a few employees in 2011 to a company with 2,000 employees during mid-2023 in its tenish years of existence. The leadership study of the Rimac Technology d.o.o. organization's CEO demonstrates the CEO's perspective of his leadership style, his perspective on the influence he has on others, i.e. his employees and their leadership styles. The leadership styles were examined using the survey questionnaire method, which offered insight and answers to general questions and perceptions of the Rimac company's management personnel. The survey questionnaire included 100 managers of Rimac Technology d.o.o. who were questioned about their attitudes, opinions, and perceptions about the development of their leadership skills and preferred leadership styles. According to the obtained results, the majority of Rimac Technology's management staff prefer a democratic and laissez-faire leadership style, which means they are more likely to include employees in decision-making, leave the determination of priorities to employees, and have a freer way of communicating with colleagues with equal responsibilities as well as with subordinates. This form of communication indicates a more relaxed culture and work environment, but also a focus on the goal and its joint achievement, which indicates the preferred leadership style of the majority is consistent with the company's proclaimed values and the preferred leadership style of the founder and current leading person.
