Abstract
Pojava pandemije COVID-19 izazvala je najgoru globalnu recesiju koja se ne pamti još od 1930. godine, kada je gospodarstvo doživjelo krah. Kao rezultat karantenske politike, opala je mobilnost stanovništva, što je ujedno dovelo i do smanjenja potrošnje te stagnacije gospodarstva. Kroz ovaj diplomski rad prikazan je utjecaj pandemije COVID-19 na pad gospodarstva, hrvatski turizam kao i poslovanje odabranog turističkog poduzeća u uvjetima pandemije. Upravo zbog aktualne situacije u zemlji i svijetu proizašla je i želja za istraživanjem osnovnih problema vezanih uz novonastalu krizu gospodarstva, posebno turizma, a koja je rezultat pojave pandemije. U radu su prikazani rezultati mnogih provedenih istraživanja o negativnim utjecajima pandemije na hrvatsko gospodarstvo te uspješnost poslovanja poduzeća, a koji su izraženiji pri ulaganjima i smanjenju prihoda prodaje.
Abstract (english)
The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused the worst global recession to be remembered since 1930, when the economy collapsed. As a result of the quarantine policy, the mobility of the population has decreased, which has also led to a reduction in consumption and stagnation in the economy. This thesis present the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the decline of the economy, the Croatian tourism and the operations of the selected turistic company in the conditions of the pandemic. Precisely because of the current situation in the country and the world, there is a desire to explore the basic problems related to the emerging crisis of the economy, especially tourism, which is the result of a pandemic. The paper presents the results of many studies conducted on the negative effects of the pandemic on the Croatian economy and the success of companies, which are more pronounced in investments and reduced sales revenue.
