Abstract | Postoji mnogo definicija odnosa s javnošću. Prema definiciji koja je izabrana online anketom i to glasovanjem stručnjaka za odnose s javnošću iz cijelog svijeta, 2012. godine, odnosi s javnošću su strateški, komunikacijski proces koji gradi međusobno korisne odnose između organizacije i njezinih javnosti (Jugo, 2012). Odnosi s javnošću pokrivaju gotovo sva područja ljudskog djelovanja koje možemo svrstati u financije, korporacije, politiku, neprofitne organizacije, turizam i putovanja, industriju zabave i filma, sport, medije, udruge i društva (Tomić, 2016). Odnosi s javnošću se prvi put spominju u SAD-u, a prvu knjigu iz područja odnosa s javnošću napisao je Edward L. Bernays 1923. godine (Tomić, 2016). U Hrvatskoj su se odnosi s javnošću počeli oblikovati kao samostalna struka 1990-ih, premda je već 1964. prvi put raspisan natječaj za radno mjesto stručnjaka za odnose s javnošću. Hrvatska udruga za odnose s javnošću (HUOJ) osnovana je 1994. godine u Zagrebu, na inicijativu Eduarda Osredečkog, a registrirana je 1998. godine i jedina je strukovna udruga za odnose s javnošću u Republici Hrvatskoj (Jugo, 2012). Najstarija i najvažnija aktivnost udruge su godišnje konferencije za odnose s javnošću koje su prigoda za informiranje o novim trendovima u struci i razmjenu iskustava. Nagrada Grand PRix dodjeljuje se svake godine počevši od 2007. kao priznanje stručnjacima u odnosima s javnošću za izvrsnost pokazanu u osmišljavanju i provedbi projekata u odnosima s javnošću. Analiziranjem obrazovanja dobitnika nagrade Grand PRix za razvoj struke odnosa s javnošću, počevši od 2007. godine pa do danas, što je bio predmet ovog rada, iz dobivenih podataka može se zaključiti da je obrazovna struktura dobitnika nagrade Grand PRix za razvoj struke odnosa s javnošću u Republici Hrvatskoj na visokoj europskoj razini. |
Abstract (english) | There are many definitions of public relations. According to the definition chosen by the online survey by voting public relations experts from around the world in 2012, public relations are a strategic, communication process that builds mutually beneficial relations between the organisation and its public (Jugo, 2012). Public relations cover almost all areas of human activity that can be classified as finance, corporations, politics, non-profit organisations, tourism and travel, entertainment and film industry, sports, media, associations and societies (Tomić, 2016). Public relations were first mentioned in the United States and the first book in the field of public relations was written by Edward L. Bernays in 1923 (Tomić, 2016). In Croatia, public relations started to shape themselves as an independent profession in the 1990 s, although the first public relations expert job competition was called as early as 1964. The Croatian public Relations Association (HUOJ) was founded in 1994 in Zagreb at the initiative of Eduard Osredečki and was registered in 1998 and is the only public relations professional association in the Republic of Croatia (Jugo, 2012). The oldest and most important activities of the association are annual public relations conferences which are an opportunity to inform about new trends in the profession and exchange of experiences. The Grand Prix award is awarded every year starting in 2007 as a recognition to public relations experts for excellence shown in the design and implementation of public relations projects. By analysing the education of the Grand Prix winner for the development of professional public relations, starting from 2007 until today, which was the subject of this paper, it can be concluded from the data obtained that the educational structure of the Grand Prix winner for the development of professional public relations in the Republic of Croatia is at a high European level. |
