Abstract
Uvođenje novog turističkog proizvoda na tržište zahtjevan je proces. Prije plasiranja samog turističkog proizvoda tržište je potrebno temeljito istražit i te prilagoditi budući t uristički proizvod i tržišnim potrebama. Ponuda treba odgovoriti na zahtjeve potražnje. Kada je riječ o potražnji smještajni h kapacitet a u turističkoj destinaciji, turisti danas imaju sve složenije zahtjeve. Turističkim subjekti ma nametnuti su veliki izazovi kojima se potrebno prilagoditi u svrhu udovoljavanja svi m potreba ma turista te ispunjavanj a njihovih očekivanja. Jedan je od načina u naprjeđenja kvalitete smještajnih kapaciteta prenamjena postojećih prihvatni h soba u novi koncept, odnosno heritage hotel o čemu se u ovom radu govori.
Abstract (english)
Introducing a tourism product to the market is a challenging process which includes a thorough research of the market itself in order to meet the market’s needs. The key is to understand and apply the law of supply and demand. Tourists nowadays have complex requirements when it comes to accommodation in their desired destination. The hosts are expected to overcome major challenges in order to meet tourist’s needs and expectations. This paper will discuss the conversion of existing private accommodation into new concept, heritage hotel, with main focus on the successful example of Heritage Hotel19.
