Abstract
Hotelski brend je marka hotelskog proizvoda i usluga koja utječe na isticanje posebnog na turističkom tržištu. U Hrvatskoj se još uvijek malo obrađuju teme brendiranja, a rezultati poslovanja hrvatskih hotela govore kako hrvatski hoteli još uvijek ne mogu konkurirati međunarodnim hotelskim brendovima. Stvaranja hotela s brendom pozitivno utječu na poslovnu uspješnost hotela jer se konkurentnost i uspjeh temelje na brendu kao dodanoj nematerijalnoj imovini. Hotelski brend je zaštićena marka, a sam proces brendiranja proces je izgradnje emocionalne asocijacije na proizvod sa skupom elemenata, odnosno znakom, imidžom i cijenom što doprinosi prepoznavanju proizvoda na tržištu. Predmet je završnog rada prikazati brendiranje u hotelijerstvu, s naglaskom na hotel Esplanade.
Abstract (english)
A hotel brand is a brand of a hotel product and service that influences the highlight of the special in the tourism market. Branding topics are still poorly covered in Croatia, and Croatian hotel business results indicate that Croatian hotels still cannot compete with international hotel brands. Creating a branded hotel has a positive effect on the hotel's business performance, as competitiveness and success are based on the brand as an intangible asset. A hotel brand is a trademark, and the branding process itself is the process of building an emotional association with a product with a set of elements, that is, a sign, image and price, which contributes to the recognition of the product on the market. The subject of the final paper is to showcase branding in the hotel industry, with an emphasis on the Esplanade Hotel.
