Abstract
Potrošačke se navike u konzumaciji alkoholnih pića mijenjaju s novim generacijama, generacijom milenijalaca i generacijom iGen. Prema posljednjim trendovima, industrija džina i razvoj craft destilerija prilagođuju svoje tržište kupcima koji se okreću zdravom načinu života i istraživačkom pristupu koji imaju prema svemu, pa tako i kada donose odluku o kupnji alkoholnih pića. Cilj i svrha ovog rada detaljnija je analiza generacija, njihovih navika i preferencija te konzumacija alkoholnih pića. Kvantitativno je istraživanje provedeno na uzorku od 51 ispitanika, obaju spolova. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju kako je omiljeno piće generacije milenijalaca džin i kako je ta generacija voljnija eksperimentirati s novitetima u okusu džina. Rezultati upućuju i na podijeljenost u definiranju kojoj društvenoj skupini pripadaju konzumenti džina.
Abstract (english)
With the arrival of the new Millennium and iGen generations, consumer habits are changing when it comes to the consumption of alcoholic beverages. According to the latest trends, the Gin industry has recognized new potential of the craft distilleries in regards with the consumers pursuing a healthy lifestyle and their research approach to everything including the purchase of alcoholic beverages. The aim and purpose of this paper is to gain insights into the habits of new generations and their preferences in the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Quantitative research has been conducted on a sample of 51 respondents of both genders. Research shows that the favorite drink of millennials is Gin and that they are more willing to experiment with novelties in the taste of Gin. Furthermore, the final results of this experiment points to the division in defining to which social group the average Gin consumer belongs to.
